Inquisition, or the Medieval Catholic Intelligence Agency has won world renown through the development of one basic element-the question. Nevertheless, their question was always the same :" Heretic, do you confess and repent of your sins before you die?" My feeble mind fails to comprehend how they managed to elicit the same response from the one "interviewed"... Remarkably as it may seem, this simple ,yet cunning question ripped an agonizing monosyllabic answer-"Yes". The means of the inquisitors is not subject to discussion, but they would have been spared a lot of hard work if someone had helped them. Centuries later, some helpful people invented a really smart thing that claims to be able to determine what you are thinking about by asking only 20 questions. Give it a shot - I know the Inquisition would have done it(given the fact that the questions are developed on a yes or no basis)http://www.20q.net/

Indeed, the most powerful tool is fear. That's why the Church was the one who came up with the concept of Big Brother :-)
it did take 28 questions for that test to guess what I was thinking of ...but even so that's quite impressive.
And the church has always been the perfect instrument for mass manipulation ...
It's a good thing that the inquisitors didn't had the 20q test available back then(altough it doesn't really work). The neverchanging anwser is due to typical human psychology, but the question is not meant to be put by any human, representing god or not. It's a fact that we are all sinners.
Keep up the good work, old chap.
